Elo Edge Connect RFID

The Elo Edge Connect NFC/RFID Reader, product code E673037, is a commercial-grade credential reader designed for compatible Elo touchscreen computers, monitors, signage displays and EloPOS systems. It can support applications such as employee authentication, access control, customer identification, membership programs, student identification, visitor management and self-service check-in. Its flexible mounting design allows the reader to remain accessible beside the touchscreen or fold behind the display when not in use.

The reader supports low-frequency, high-frequency and Bluetooth credentials across 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz and 2.44 GHz. Supported technologies include HID Prox, Indala Prox, EM Prox, AWID Prox, HID iCLASS, iCLASS SE/SR, iCLASS Seos, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE Plus, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, ISO 14443 Type A and B, ISO 15693, FeliCa and HID Mobile Access through Bluetooth Low Energy. It also supports compatible Student ID credentials stored in Apple Wallet.

The E673037 connects through an Elo Edge Connect USB 2.0 interface and supports both CCID and keyboard-wedge operating modes. Integrated status indicators and an audible beeper provide feedback when compatible cards or credentials are presented. The reader receives 5V DC power directly through its USB connection, so no separate power adapter is required.

Official compatibility includes Elo I-Series for Android, I-Series for Windows, EloPOS, selected 1002L through 2702L touchscreen monitors, selected medical touchscreen monitors and multiple Elo touchscreen-signage models. Supported operating systems include Windows 7 and 10, Ubuntu 18.04, macOS and Android 7 or later. Configuration, drivers or application integration may be required depending on the selected credential technology and operating mode.

The reader measures approximately 119.6 × 68.5 × 29.1 mm and weighs approximately 0.165 lb (0.075 kg) without packaging. It operates at temperatures from 10°C to 40°C, carries a two-year manufacturer warranty, and includes the Elo RFID reader, two mounting screws, two Mylar screw covers and a Quick Install Guide.
